Absolutely no experience is needed as our experts 'show you the ropes' and explain the ins and outs (or is it 'ups and downs'?) of bell ringing.

You'll practice on the eight bells in the lovely Victorian church of St Margaret and if you want to, you can learn all about change ringing - the distinctive patterns that you often hear being played. But why stop there? We can even take you into other church towers locally to try your hand there as well. If you enjoy the experience, perhaps when you return home you can join your local group.

We've all looked on in amazement and amusement as brightly-clad street performers and circus acts juggle with clubs, balls, rings and flaming sticks.

- Over 3 individual workshops learn how to be a great jester and the tricks of the trade!

Our local performers will be running a series of workshops to prove that even the most ham-fisted of us can acquire skills that will astonish our families and entertain our friends.

You'll be shown some of the secrets of being a great jester and how, with a little make-up carefully applied, you can become a convincing member of a circus.

Guests get to learn a 60 second number on different instruments under the guidance of our resident band. They learn over two days, and on the final night they join with the band in a short set where each guest gets to play their 60 second solo.
